Tears of the Sun is a 2003 film directed by Antoine Fuqua and starring Bruce Willis as a Navy SEAL commander.
Willis is ordered to lead his SEAL team into the jungles of Nigeria to rescue a doctor played by Monica Belluci who only agrees to go with them if the SEALs agree to rescue 70 refugees from an advancing rebel army.
The movie also stars Cole Hauser and Tom Skerritt.
